Big Ten Flags

Big Ten Flag Corps auditions take place on the same weekend, in early June, as the hornline. Marching and maneuvering skills are taught and evaluated during an afternoon orientation session. Individuals who are interested in the Big Tens may also audition for a spot on the hornline, drumline, or color guard, as well. Wind players who play flute, clarinet, double reeds, often audition for this section as a way to perform with the SMB!

Twirler

Twirler auditions take place annually, only when spots are available for the upcoming fall season. Interested individuals should plan a fall visit to meet current twirlers and the teaching staff. Pre-screening materials are due in January of the audition year and an on-campus audition takes place in March.
